These may be the first cookies made and documented in 2017 .... *gasp* ... sadly, I feel like they are appearing much darker here than they are in real life — but, at least you get the idea.
It has been a while since I have actually made any cookies, but in looking through old photos, I found several that never got posted, so I thought I would do that now — if for no other reason than to prove this blog is not totally dormant....

Here are a few photos from our cookie party. Too many cookies had been eaten when I realized I came up short on finished cookie photos...so sadly we do not have much evidence that this was a success.
I got bored the other day and felt it necessary to use some leftover icing to make three hundred flowers that are the size of dimes and nickels....to use later of course. Naturally I have no idea when, but I am storing them indefinitely in good faith that they will make it onto mason jar cookies one day.
